Writers By the Woods is a juried writing group in Southeast Michigan. Our members include established professionals and talented amateurs. We meet in person every two weeks, typically at a coffee house in Oakland county. We also write and review each other’s work online.
Writers submit finished pieces of fiction, following general formatting guidelines. Submissions may be up to 7500 words. Feedback is timely, thoughtful, and honest. We are focused, above all, on publication.
